Most initial candidate interviews complete for seat of former Peoria Unified board member

1 candidate applied through county, not district

Maricopa County Education Service Agency has completed most of the initial interviews for the candidates to fill the seat of former Peoria Unified governing board member Rebecca Hill.

Officials said follow-up interviews are also planned.

In September, the governing board announced three finalists for the seat of Hill, who resigned Aug. 24.
