More than 800 cyclists plan to ride in Tour de Tempe

The Tour de Tempe community bike ride is expected to attract more than 800 cyclists Sunday for a 10-mile trip that begins at Kiwanis Park, event organizers said.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, April 2, in the west parking lot north of Guadalupe Road. The park is at 6111 S. All America Way. Register online through Wednesday, March 29, at tempe.gov/BikeMonth.

Free T-shirts, breakfast foods and coffee will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Helmets are required, and riders should bring their own water.
