The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board greenlighted more than $500,000 in new spending by unanimously approving the consent agenda at its Feb. 28 meeting.
The consent agenda’s largest dollar-amount item was for nearly $338,000. It was a contract to replace aging, high-mileage non-student vehicles.
That total will buy the district eight Ford vehicles: five 2024 Maverick XLs, two 2024 F350 Super Duty 4-by-2s and one 2023 Transit 250MR Cargo van. The van is to replace an aging mail van, according to a staff report.
