More rain expected New Year’s Day

A dose of rain and colder temps didn’t stop some residents from being out and about with Wednesday’s rainfall.

It won’t be the last rain Valley residents see before the end of the year.

Expect cloud cover and temperatures to be a bit below normal for this time of year, said Gabriel Lojero, meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
