Neighborhood Watch groups in Sun City West are very active, and as it grows there are more eyes watching and ears listening to help law enforcement and the Posse maintain a safer community for everyone.
There are approximately 27,000 residents in Sun City West, of those there are close to 1,000 people currently involved in the Neighborhood Watch program. Of the 103 homeowner associations, there are 13 active HOA’s participating in the program. The Sun City West Posse, with the guidance of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, is actively working to involve more residents.
“Although there is crime throughout other communities, Sun City West is still one of the safest to live in,” Sally Erickson, Sun City West Posse volunteer said.
