San Tan Valley elementary hit with COVID reports increase in cases

Fifth-, sixth-grade classes move online for this week

The number of elementary school students at Ellsworth Elementary with active cases of COVID-19 continues to climb.

The number of cases now stands at 61 today from 53 on Friday.

Ellsworth Elementary is in the San Tan Valley in Pinal County. As a result of the increase in COVID-19 cases, all fifth- and sixth-grade classes at that school have been temporarily moved to remote learning through Friday, Aug. 13.
