Monsoon not expected to produce much rain

Hot town, summer in the city.

Unfortunately, forecasters are predicting a summer hotter than a match head with little rain during the monsoon season in the months ahead.

This weekend, residents can expect high temperatures of 114 degrees all weekend starting on Friday, said Austin Jamison, meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
