The Peoria Unified governing board unanimously approved Chief Technology and Operations Officer Kevin Molino June 8 as the district’s acting superintendent to take over after Superintendent Jason Reynolds resigns, beginning July 1.
Molino will serve as acting superintendent until an interim superintendent is selected. He took over for previous Chief Technology and Operations Officer John Gay, who retired from the district, Oct. 15, 2022.
Molino began his stint as the Chief Technology and Operations Officer, Oct. 20, 2022. He has more than 25 years of diverse information technology experience in the military, corporate and education sectors.
