When it rains, it pours — or at least floods — in the Town of Paradise Valley, an ongoing issue that officials are eying a fix to.
Citing the impacts of torrential rains and lacking drainage systems in certain areas of the town, officials say it’s not uncommon for flooding to occur in homes and on streets.
“I live on the side of Mummy Mountain, and in the ‘18 storm we had damage. There is no one above us, it was just water coming down off the mountain,” Councilwoman Ellen Andeen said during a March meeting.
