MLB lockout may push back Surprise Rib Fest to fall

Subcommittee to discuss fate of April event

It appears rib fans will have to wait even longer to participate in what city officials hope becomes a signature event.

The city’s Tourism Fund Subcommittee is scheduled to meet March 3 to discuss postponing the event, which was also to attract top music acts.
