Mitchell: ‘Extraordinary speed’ in Lord homicide arrests

Six have been arrested in teen's death

While announcing the arrests of suspects in the murder of 16-year-old Preston Lord in Queen Creek, Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said the investigation, indictments and arrests had moved quickly despite opinion to the contrary.

Since the San Tan Valley teen’s death in October, social media has been rife with complaints about how long it was taking to make arrests in the case.
