'Miracle:' Plane lands on Phoenix street, no injuries

"They walked away" - Capt. DJ Lee

A small plane made an emergency landing Sunday afternoon on a Phoenix street, injuring no one and causing no property damage.

Fire crews responded around 2:15 p.m.  April 12  to 7th Street and Missouri Avenue to find the "small water aircraft" had landed on 7th Street. The three people on  board were out of the plane and uninjured, according to a release.

"They walked away from this crash. No one else got hurt," Fire Department Capt. D.J. Lee said at a news conference Sunday afternoon.  "It's pretty much a miracle."
