Milling, overlay project planned at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is proposing a milling and overlay project on the existing runway 12C/30C, according to a public notice.

The airport is operated by the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority. PMGAA consists of representation from Apache Junction, Mesa, Queen Creek, Gilbert, Gila River Indian Community and Phoenix.

“This project includes replacing runway distance remaining signs and runway lighting. There is potential that this project is encroaching on a 500-year floodplain,” the notice at gatewayairport.com/publicnotices states.
