Midtown Men light up stage with holiday hits

Posted

The Midtown Men are returning to the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts in Wickenburg, 1090 S. Vulture Mine Road, for one-night-only 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10.

Reuniting four stars from Broadway’s 2005 smash hit “Jersey Boys,” The Midtown Men will ring in the Christmas season this year with their “Holiday Hits” show. This evening of festive tunes and tales features iconic Yuletide classics such as “Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

The quartet and their seven-piece band will also treat audiences to signature renditions of the rock and roll hits of the 1960s from The Beatles, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Temptations and more. Additionally, The Midtown Men will perform their holiday single, “All Alone on Christmas,” which they recorded with Stevie Van Zandt and members of Bruce Springsteen’s The E Street Band.

After originating the lead roles of “Jersey Boys” on Broadway, Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard and J. Robert Spencer formed their vocal group, specializing in 1960s hits and holiday favorites. They became the first vocal group formed from the principal cast of a successful Broadway show.

Tickets start at $60 and are $5 for ages 18 and younger. Call the Webb Center box office at 928-684-6624 or visit dewpac.org.
