Michael D. Hamerski, 76 of Mesa, AZ passed away suddenly on 11/12/2021 at his home in Sunland Springs Village. Michael was born in Stevens Point, WI to Peter and Helen Hamerski on 11/22/1944. He served in the Air Force from 1963-1966 as a missile launch specialist.
Michael worked for 3M Company in St. Paul, Minnesota in the TelComm Products Division until his retirement. He spent summers at his home in Baldwin, WI and winters in Apache Junction until relocating permanently to Mesa in 2012.
Michael volunteered for Hospice Family Care in Gilbert, Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in Mesa and Global Volunteers. He was active in Alcoholics Anonymous for over 45 years. He loved the outdoors, camping, hiking and cycling.
He is survived by a sister Alice Lorenz of Milwaukee, WI, a brother Gordon Hamerski of Sedro-Woolley, WA and Cynthia Reichert his loving companion and friend.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Gold Canyon United Methodist Church in Gold Canyon, AZ on January 8th, 2022 at 11 am. Burial with military honors will take place at North Woods National Cemetery in Harshaw, WI in the Spring of 2022.
