Christina Copley is in custody after she told a neighbor “while holding a knife covered in blood” that she stabbed her husband, who died at their Mesa home, police said Monday.
The 41-year-old woman was arrested Saturday night after officers were called at about 10:20 p.m. to a home in the 7200 block of East Norwood Avenue, police said.
Before officers arrived, the suspect “told a neighbor she had stabbed her husband while holding a knife covered in blood. Officers detained Copley without incident,” according to a Mesa Police Department release.
