Smaller signs can be removed and a larger one installed outside a 95-acre recreational vehicle subdivision with 60 feet of frontage on Main Street, the Mesa Board of Adjustment recommended recently.
The board on Sept. 1 voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to approve a special-use permit for a comprehensive sign plan for new monument sign in the multiple-residence zoning district, with Vice Chair Nicole Lynam and board member Ethel Hoffman absent.
Applicant Samuel Samata of Samata Signs LLC requested the changes and increasing the size of the monument sign at Mesa Spirit RV Resort, 3020 E. Main St.
