Mesa resident fights, succeeds despite breast cancer diagnosis

Tiffany Hand took precautions.

The 41-year-old Mesa resident, a project coordinator at Banner Health, got regular mammograms since age 28 because her family had a history of breast cancer. Her sister, Lisa, had been diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35.

In 2022, one biopsy came back benign on her breasts.
