Two 19-year-olds have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and gang-related crimes in a Sept. 22 shooting that injured three men and a woman, Mesa police said Friday.
Jonathan Valladares Mojica has been charged with aggravated assault, assisting a criminal street gang, gang threat and unlawful discharge of a fireman. Mark Cortez Garcia faces charges that include aggravated assault – facilitation to commit, assisting a criminal street gang and gang threats.
The victims, who have not been identified, were shot about 6 p.m. Sept. 22 near McKellips Road and Center Street, police said.
