Mesa, Phoenix, Peoria ticket buyers win $2M, $100K, $50K in Powerball drawing

The Powerball jackpot has been won, and although the winner wasn't in Arizona, some Arizona lottery players saw dollar signs Wednesday night.

A ticket purchased in Peoria was worth $2 million, according to the Arizona Lottery, and there were other winners in the Valley, lottery officials said.

The big Peoria winner was sold at Cactus Shell, 6730 W. Cactus Road.

The Powerball jackpot has been won, and although the winner wasn't in Arizona, some Arizona lottery players saw dollar signs Wednesday night.

A ticket purchased in Peoria was worth $2 million, according to the Arizona Lottery, and there were other winners in the Valley, lottery officials said.

The big Peoria winner was sold at Cactus Shell, 6730 W. Cactus Road.

Other winning tickets:

  • Safeway, 1334 E. Chandler Blvd., Phoenix - $100,000 with PowerPlay.
  • Circle K, 15412 N. 32nd St., Phoenix - $50,000.
  • QuikTrip, 7522 W. Deer Valley Road, Peoria - $50,000.
  • Circle K, 1210 S. Higley Road, Mesa - $50,000.

Winning Numbers: 

22, 24, 40, 52, 64, Powerball: 10
Powerplay: 2x

The winning $1.7-plus billion Powerball winner in Wednesday night's drawing was sold in California.
