Team USA Olympic skateboarder Jagger Eaton, who won a bronze medal last summer, was recently presented with the key to the city of Mesa.
“His young and successful career really hit its pinnacle so far, at age 20, when he brought home an Olympic bronze medal in men’s street skateboarding. And later that year he won the world championship on the Street League Skateboarding tour. Now he’s a very successful professional athlete,” Mesa Mayor John Giles said prior to giving Eaton a plaque with the key to the city. “We really are very proud of you and love you.”
Eaton won the bronze medal in the men’s street final in skateboarding on July 25, 2021, at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
