Mesa Historic Preservation Board meets Jan. 5

An update on a historic district traffic study funded by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Grant is planned at the Jan. 5 meeting of the Mesa Historic Preservation Board.

The historic preservation board is a seven-member citizen advisory committee that makes recommendations to Mesa’s downtown development committee, the planning and zoning board, the board of adjustments, the zoning administrator and city council. The historic preservation board oversees historic preservation on a citywide basis, according to the city’s website.
