Mesa credit union joining AZ Credit Union Week Oct. 13

TruWest, an Arizona Credit Union with branches in Mesa and elsewhere in the valley, will join Arizona Credit Union Week starting Oct. 13. 

Running until Oct.  17, the event will shine a spotlight on the work credit unions to do empower financial independence, according to a press release. 

Credit unions from Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix, Tempe and more will be joining.

Participating credit unions include Aero Financial Credit Union, Alhambra Credit Union, Arizona Central Credit Union, Arizona Financial Credit Union, Copper State Credit Union, Credit Union West and more.

Credit unions will will collaborate on a series of events, and intiatives such as team-building, community service, financial education and more.

The festivities will also include the observance of International Credit Union Day on Oct. 16.
