Mesa council to vote on paying $615K for two street sweepers

Paying $615,142.50 for two street sweepers to replace equipment in Mesa’s fleet is to be considered Wednesday by the City Council.

The meeting begins at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 8 in the council chambers, 57 E. First St.

If approved, the street sweepers would be purchased using a state of Arizona cooperative contract with Freightliner of Arizona with a grant funded by the Maricopa Association of Governments and the local streets fund.
