The Virtual Good News Girlfriends Club hosted by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce meets 3-4 p.m. Fridays. The next one is Jan. 8.

“Homework is the best part of this club — be on the lookout for good news/happenings in your life and be ready to share your favorite story with the group weekly,” according to a release.

“There is enough negative in our world and your story will lift everyone’s spirit and keep you focused on good things. Your story can be something someone did for you or you did for them or just a heartwarming story of good from someone you know,” the release states.

For information, email Sally Harrison, the chamber’s president and CEO, at sharrison@mesachamber.org.

Registration information will be at mesachamber.org/events. Meeting information will be sent to RSVP’d attendees via email.
