A free car show in the parking lot of Red Mountain Promenade, 6663 E. McDowell Road, can be held 12 times a year, the Mesa Board of Adjustment decided recently.
A special-use permit to exceed four special events on the same premises during the calendar year in the limited commercial district was approved by the board in a consent agenda with other items May 5.
Special events are allowed for up to four consecutive days per event and four events on the same premises per calendar year, Mesa Planner Jennifer Gniffke said at a study session prior to the meeting.
