I stopped by the Wyyerd office to inquire about the status of the Sun City West expansion area. I was told no construction in the foreseeable future.
The reason: little interest from residents in this area. The return on investment is not worth the construction cost. They will move on to other areas in the county where they can do better.
Residents in this area have been waiting patiently while the rest of Sun City West is being completed, now to be told Wyyerd has decided not to complete all of Sun City West as promised.
I have included weekly Wyyerd updates on our Computers West website and in Newsletters. Today at our weekly meeting, many members asked why Wyyerd in stopping construction. Wyyerd was here this year touting the benefits of their fiber to our membership. They made a commitment which included all of Sun City West.
