The Mercury looked to be in full control of the semifinals series after two blowout wins in a row over Las Vegas, but the Aces returned the favor in Game 4 Wednesday with a 93-76 win to even the series at two games apiece and force a deciding Game 5 in Vegas at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Shortly after half, the Mercury cut the lead to three before Vegas KO’d Phoenix with a staggering 24-0 run to stretch the lead to 27.
“Tides can change really fast,” said Aces guard Chelsea Gray about the swing in the series after Phoenix had dominated the last two games.
