Mehan: Thrilled to find a copy of Mesa Independent

I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I was to go to my mailbox and find a copy of the Mesa Independent.

I’ve been an avid newspaper reader since I was in grade school and I’ve missed being able to have a newspaper in hand.

Arizona Republic? No way am I subscribing to that paper. Loved the Mesa Tribune, but it’s hard to find a copy.

I’ve missed the Independent though. It was always my favorite for local news and your name is familiar to me. Welcome back.
