As the city of Surprise works to fix transportation issues in the Loop 303/US 60/163rd Avenue corridor and keep the community informed on progress, residents can attend a community meeting and visit a new webpage dedicated to the corridor.
The community meeting, hosted by District 1 Councilmember Nick Haney, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Asante Preparatory Academy – Cafeteria, 23251 N. 166th Drive.
At this meeting, officials will be providing updates on city transportation projects, Arizona Department of Transportation projects, cellular service in the area and more.
Representatives from ADOT, Maricopa Association of Governments, Mayor Skip Hall and others, will be on hand to provide specific updates regarding the short- and long-term solutions to the traffic challenges in north Surprise. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Additionally, there is a new way to connect to information anytime about the efforts being made to bring traffic congestion solutions to this area.
