Meet Tempe artist Kendra Sollars, who leans on her championship-level synchronized swimming experience to illustrate body movements through water, ultimately creating works of art.
This November, Sollars will host a video workshop at Canal Convergence, where participants will create their own black and white, still, digitally manipulated image inspired by native Arizona plant species. The workshop uses Sollars' "Synthesis" exhibition as inspiration.
"Synthesis" is a large-scale video projection which reimagines the human form as native Arizona plant species as they blossom and grow.
