Meet Owen– Adventurous teen seeks home base
Posted
“I’m looking forward to being adopted because I’m tired of moving and I want a place to call my own.”
Like many fifteen-year-old boys, Owen is full of energy and spunk. He’s always ready to go for a bike ride or take part in a NERF gun battle. Anything that keeps him – and his mind – moving is fair game.
Owen says his perfect day would consist of lots of video games, some scary movies, listening to Metallica, and eating at his favorite restaurant, the Rainforest Café.
Owen is looking for a family that can provide structure and routine. He loves to have fun, but needs guidance to help him work toward a successful future. Owen would do best as an only child in his forever family.
For more information on children in foster care eligible for adoption, call Aid to Adoption of Special Kids at 602.930.4900, or visit www.aask-az.org.
Editor's note: Ms. Gaieck is a copywriter at AASK - Aid to Adoption of Special Kids. She will be submitting articles regularly to the Daily Independent at YourValley.net in hopes to find children forever families.
