Meet Damone – Smart, helpful young man searches for family of his own

Fifteen-year-old Damone is hard to miss. The high school sophomore is growing like a weed and using his height to hone in his basketball talents.

Basketball is Damone’s first love. The sport calms him and helps him focus on his present and his future. He hopes one day to take his passion and talents to the NBA.

But basketball isn’t Damone’s only love in life. At school, he greatly enjoys math class and says reading and science are okay too. He enjoys fashion and takes buying shoes and clothes very seriously. At home, you can find the teen chowing down on Cheetos or Mexican food while watching a comedy or action flick on TV.

Damone is committed to finding the right family. Although it takes time for him to trust strangers, he is willing to put in the effort and hopes a family will do the same. Damone does not have a preference on what his forever family looks like, but hopes to have a dog to play with.

Like most teens, Damone needs a family that will help guide him to make the right choices as he gets older. Having older siblings who could be positive influences on his life would greatly benefit Damone.

Damone says that family is, “joy and love” and he is ready to experience it all.
