A medical office is to be constructed north of Broadway Road on the east side of 63rd Street in Mesa.
The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on June 28 voted 5-0 on a consent agenda with other items to recommend that the city council rezone the property from agricultural to office commercial and approve a site plan review for Baywood Medical Collaborative II. Absent were Vice Chair Benjamin Ayers and board member Genessee Montes.
The proposed use is permitted in the office commercial zoning district, Planner Kwasi Abebrese said at a study session prior to the meeting.
