Mediactive arms against weaponized words meant to alter face of digital reality

Real vs. fake news continues to dominate media landscape

Following the revelation of the printing press, words have been weaponized, propaganda espoused and disinformation integrated into democratic societies.

But in the 21st century, media consumers can do something about it.

That, at least, is the idea behind Mediactive, a collaborative, free online course at the News Co/Lab, a part of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
