Meals on Wheels service in West Valley suspends deliveries

Organizer looking for a new contract option

At the start of June, Meals of Wheels Sun City West officials received a letter indicating 30 days later, food service would no longer be available.

Meals were prepared in the kitchen at Sun Health’s Grandview Terrace in Sun City West.

Volunteer June Hell said her first priority is to Sun City West Meals on Wheels clients, but she had to start with confirming she received the notice and then prepared a letter for clients.
