Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies are offering another reminder for Sun Cities residents: keep your garage doors closed and homes locked.
This comes as deputies from MCSO District 3, which comprises 1,600 square miles of Maricopa County including Sun City and Sun City West, and the Sun City West Posse continue to see cases of items being stolen from open garages.
Sun City West Posse Cmdr. Ed Stern said members responded to approximately 1,700 open garage doors during patrols in the past year.
