Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office detectives this week executed search warrants as part of the agency's investigation into a drug-trafficking organization and took pounds of narcotics off the streets while seizing firearms in the process.

The warrants were used June 20 by MCSO detectives of the Maricopa County Drug Suppression Task Force at several locations and vehicles throughout the Phoenix area, authorities said.

Seized were:

  • 6 firearms (includes one stolen handgun).
  • 3,708 TCH vape cartridges.
  • 50.9 pounds THC cannabis byproduct.
  • 4,000 amphetamine pills.
  • 969 Xanax pills.
  • 120.4 pounds high-grade marijuana.
  • 12 Vials LSD liquid.
  • 6,000 LSD tabs.
  • 379 grams raw ketamine powder.
  • 25.7 Pounds psilocybin mushrooms.
  • 3.2 Pounds MDMA crystalline.
  • 3.30 Pounds cocaine powder.
  • Approximately $30,547 cash.
  • 3 liters of TCH distillate.
  • 10 ounces narcotic cough syrup liquid.

Five suspects were either identified or taken into custody on several felony charges, officials said.

“Despite the misconception of some of these items being decriminalized by state law, or readily available via prescription, the items seized pursuant to this investigation were obtained and being distributed illegally,” MCSO officials stated in a release.
