The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a missing 65-year-old man from Apache Junction.
On Thursday, March 14, at approximately 5:45 a.m., Jefferson Baker was last seen by his wife leaving his residence near Broadway and Meridian roads in Apache Junction for work at a trucking company, possibly near 45th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road in Phoenix. Baker never returned home. MCSO stated that Baker frequents local gambling establishments.
Baker is described as white, 5-foot-8-inches tall, weighing 260 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He has a scar the size of a nickel under his left eye. He was wearing a gray windbreaker jacket, light-blue T-shirt and gray or khaki-colored shorts.
Baker drives a gray 2023 Ford Bronco SUV, with Arizona license plate KFA 3TD.
Anyone who has seen Baker or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office at 602-876-1011 and reference incident report #24-006604.
