Authorities are looking for the driver of a pickup truck that may have run over a motorcyclist who was lying on a roadway after an earlier collision in Litchfield Park.
About 9:30 p.m. May 19, a dark-colored pickup may have run over Brian Disney, 54, who was on the northbound lanes of Dysart Road just before Rose Lane, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
MCSO officials said Disney’s motorcycle appeared to have hit a road construction sign, causing him to lose control and falling onto the pavement where he was run over. He was pronounced dead.
The truck driver continued north on Dysart without stopping or calling 911.
Anyone with information, should contact MCSO at 602-876-TIPS (8477) or 602-876-1011. The report number to reference is 23-013061.
