MCSO searches for driver in deadly Phoenix hit-and-run

Detectives are investigating a hit-and-run Sunday night that killed a man and injured a woman.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Monday morning that they are asking for the public’s help to find the vehicle and its driver involved in the collision that occurred just before 11 p.m. Aug. 13 near 39th Avenue and Southern in Phoenix.

The vehicle should have damage to the front end, possibly the grill, hood and windshield, according to an MCSO release.

Detectives are investigating a hit-and-run Sunday night that killed a man and injured a woman.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Monday morning that they are asking for the public’s help to find the vehicle and its driver involved in the collision that occurred just before 11 p.m. Aug. 13 near 39th Avenue and Southern in Phoenix.

The vehicle should have damage to the front end, possibly the grill, hood and windshield, according to an MCSO release.

Authorities said the woman’s injuries are not life threatening.
