The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help in locating a girl who was last seen taking out trash in Anthem.

Kahlan Diehl, 15, was last seen around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 when she went to take out the garbage, according to MCSO. But when her younger sister walked outside minutes later, the trash was on top of the dumpster and Diehl was gone.

The family and authorities conducted a thorough search of the residence and surrounding neighborhood but were unable to locate Diehl. She is new to Anthem but does have friends in the Deer Valley High School area, MCSO states.

Diehl is about 5 feet 1 inch tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray sweatpants, black bra and white Converse shoes. She may be carrying a gray purse.

Her right nostril is pierced, and she has scaring on both arms. She also has a heart tattooed on her left hand.
