MCSO investigating fatal hit-and-run in Sun City West

An investigation is pending on a on a senior woman police believe was responsible for the death of a motorcyclist late last month in Sun City West.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash July 28 at North Spanish Garden Drive. and North R.H. Johnson Boulevard.

A single motorcyclist was stopped on R.H. Johnson at the intersection with Spanish Garden while the light was red and was hit from behind by a vehicle that failed to stop at the red light.
