While the presence of a police vehicle can often be ominous, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and Fountain Hills Unified School District Resource Officer Amber Hampton has been working to establish the opposite.
Hampton, a six-year veteran with the local MCSO crew, has been spending her time not just ensuring safety across Fountain Hills school campuses, but strengthening relationships with a positive influence to those on them.
She oversees the preschool, McDowell Mountain Elementary School, the middle and high school, along with The Inspiration Academy K-12 charter school.
