Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were kept busy chasing calls that appeared to be shootings in Sun City.
The incidents started Nov. 13 with two shots fired calls. The first was at 9:28 p.m. in the area of North 113th and West Tennessee avenues in Youngtown. MCSO Deputy Calbert Gillett said a resident called to report what they believed to be multiple gun shots in the area. However, deputies were not able to find any evidence that a gun was fired or a suspect.
The same day about 4:33 p.m. deputies were in the Fry’s parking lot on the southeast corner of North 107th and West Grand avenues conducting an investigation into another incident.
