McKellips Road between 92nd Street and Alma School Road will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, July 14, and another section will be shut, Maricopa County transportation officials said.
Eastbound travel for McKellips Road between the State Route Loop 101 and 92nd Street will be closed.
Alternate routes are along local roads and the McDowell Road exit from Loop 101, according to the Maricopa County Department of Transportation, which advises drivers to follow detour signs for directions.
Westbound travel on McKellips Road will be open for motorists.
The traffic change will be in place for approximately three weeks, MCDOT officials said. Work will include installing curbs, gutters, sidewalks, a raised road median and asphalt pavement.
