Longtime resident Susan Jackman has not only made Florence her home for years, but she has become part of the fabric of the town.
Jackson serves as a docent at McFarland State Historic Park, helps the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to promote businesses and tourism to the town, and volunteers at the Central Arizona Florence Correctional Complex.
Although she grew up in the far different climate of the Adirondack Mountains in New York state, she became fascinated with Florence’s history.
