Changes could be coming to a pair of intersections on 103rd Avenue that have been a bone of contention for some time.
Maricopa County Department of Transportation officials are studying options for the four-way stops on 103rd Avenue at Alabama Avenue and Sun City Boulevard. The intersections includes stop signs in the middle of the road facing north and south traffic.
Members of the Sun City Home Owners Association Roads and Safety Committee for years argued against the arrangement, claiming it caused confusion for drivers and created a potential for accidents.
