McDade: Comments by Sun City resident about Luke Air Force Base not meant to be serious

I was born and raised in Glendale, Mr. Foulke (“Buyers should know what they are getting,” Sun City Independent, Dec. 30, 2020), I’ve been in Sun City 15 years.

While in Glendale, Yeager was still breaking the sound barrier, we had to tape our windows. I studied train signal meanings while going to Glendale Community College.

There are many not so bright people on our streets, also in government. I’ve hunted lots and lots of animals in lots of states and can surely identify a bunch of poop.

While I appreciate your service to our country, you must have missed the sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek chapter of your English class.

I embrace Everything Arizona, use many facilities here and plan to see my grandchildren get involved here.

I sure hope 2021 helps you lighten up a little.

Sun City, Luke, serious
