Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, which combines immersive training with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather’s champion techniques, is re-opening the brand’s first Scottsdale location.

Mayweather Boxing + Fitness of Scottsdale, 9220 E. Via De Ventura, suite 121, opened in April under new ownership, according to a press release.

To celebrate the studio’s opening, a grand opening event will be held on Saturday, June 3 to launch the new business into the community.

The Scottsdale Mayweather Boxing + Fitness studio is operated by Studio Manager, Dylon Gillette, who is a seasoned fitness professional and is passionate about serving the Scottsdale community, the press release stated.

The studio’s grand opening event will take place from 12 p.m.  to 3 p.m. and will be a fundraiser to support Phoenix’s homeless population in partnership with Suits and Soldiers and Stop Traffic Walk Phoenix. Mayweather Boxing + Fitness will be receiving items to aid the homeless, such as personal care items, nonperishable goods, and clothing.

Each person who donates an item will receive a free guest pass to try out the studio and those who purchase a membership at the event will receive an essentials kit, which includes gloves, wraps, a heart rate monitor, and a drawstring bag at a discount. There will also be giveaway raffles and a donation raffle with the winner receiving a free 6-month membership.

For additional upcoming events, Mayweather Boxing + Fitness of Scottsdale plans to partner with Suits and Soldiers to benefit the military and their families and Stop Traffic Walk Phoenix to drive a bigger impact for the safety of the community.

Utilizing methods developed throughout Floyd Mayweather’s 21-year undefeated boxing career, each studio offers a balance of class options formulated to give members a full-body workout regardless of previous experience, while catering to different skill levels and interests, the press release stated.

A unique training emphasis is present at each training station involving equipment including rowers, treadmills, boxing bags and more.
